The Archdiocese of Chicago (AoC) is the third largest diocese in the United States and serves more than 2.2 million Catholics in 347 parishes in Cook and Lake Counties. The Archdiocese’s 154 elementary and secondary schools comprise one of the largest U.S. private school systems.The recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions for the Archdiocese of Chicago, primarily the Office of Catholic Schools (OCS). This role will focus on sourcing teaching candidates, analyzing candidates' specific instructional desires and locations. The recruiter will organize applicants for principals in each Vicariate by placing them into defined candidate pools and sharing those pools with principals. This role will be the point of contact and responsible for all teaching roles, student-teacher programs, collegiate and virtual job fairs, university partnerships, and OCS.Responsible for and not limited to:Consults with AoC and OCS leaders and hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).Identifies and sources potential candidates for vacant opportunities within OCS.Evaluates candidates based on applications and submits them to the appropriate OCS pool, to be shared with the principals.Outside of OCS: screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process, and connects viable candidates with hiring managers while following up with both candidates and hiring managers.Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.Owns and manages student-teacher, internship, and a variety of other special projects during the off-teacher hiring cycle.Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.Qualifications

Preferred
Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.Bachelors or better in Human Resources Management or related field.Experience
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.Ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously.2 years:
2 years: Human Resources.
Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.Ability to build and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders and C-suite.
