What We’re Looking For :
The Area Marketing Manager (AMM) is responsible for implementing and executing the strategic marketing plans for Both Live! by Loews Arlington Hotel and Loews Arlington Hotel as established by the Complex Directors of Sales & Marketing (CDOSM).

What You’ll Do :
Serving as a resource to the hotels in researching opportunities and providing tactical execution when demand and revenue generation are identified.
Own the tactical action items of hotels’ marketing plans and working with the Marketing Project Manager to ensure deadlines are met and projects are managed in alignment with the expectations of the hotels and commitments to internal and external stakeholders.
Working directly with the Sales team specific opportunities secured in preferred partner agreements to ensure that visibility, preferred placements, offers, and promotions for our hotels are optimized and promoted across all available channels.
Working with the CDOSM to provide due diligence in supporting the proactive marketing plans while being flexible and anticipatory to pivot plans as needed to ensure relevance and results for the individual properties.
Overseeing collateral management to ensure proposals, sales brochures, promotions, etc., are all up to date and that the sales team has readily available access for client sales calls, tradeshows and digital distribution.
Working with the CDOSM and the Corporate Director of Sales Operations to ensure all sales tools and all property placements are optimized, this includes but is not limited to iSales, TrueTours, Cvent Profiles, preferred placements, wedding sites, and the overall digital representation of the properties on all non-branded, non-earned media sites.
Liaise with Public Relations to ensure online platforms, digital campaigns, CRM and media are optimized to drive improved revenue and profitability to the hotel
Support the positioning / activation of the restaurants & bars to the local market. Work with internal and external resources to define clear positioning for relevant outlets that resonates under the overall hotel positioning. Develop & implement local marketing activities aiming to engage with locals and increase capture ratio from in-house guests.
The AMM reports to and works closely with the CDOSM to execute the Arlington Hotel’s complex marketing plans as well as provide any due diligence for modifications to the plans to ensure relevancy and impact to the property’s financial performance.
Act as a resource for the CDOSM to collate the needed content to execute on any digital marketing initiatives, including but not limited to due diligence, copy/content and comp set data.
Interact directly with the Hotel Sales, Marketing, Revenue and PR Leaders and serve as a resource to not only provide comp set and industry intelligence for all scheduled meetings, but also provide real time updates for suggested optimization where an opportunity is identified, including but not limited to preferred partner placements, profile optimizations, package offering and OTA Strategies (i.e Cvent, OBT), etc.
Serve as a resource to the hotels for special marketing projects as it relates to demand generation and execution. Hotels will communicate special needs in real time and AMM will relay the information throughout the Marketing team to put at strategy together to positively impact the hotel. Oversee any marketing related action plans to ensure content capture and deadline management.
Directly interact with the Area Directors of PR to ensure Brand compliance on all marketing initiatives, to garner copy and/or content specific to individual property marketing placements or initiatives. A cadence of meetings will be established. For purposes of clarity the Area Director of PR will oversee all partnerships and property activations and will engage with the Property Marketing Lead on execution.

3+ years of marketing experience required
Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; experience with databases
