You are passionate about Small Business Payments and the distribution of payments solutions through innovative products and services.
You will lead an existing team focused on Franchisees and Associations, with the opportunity to expand scope across new partnership types you develop. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, and your ability to solution client needs, build consensus, and engage internal stakeholders for support is vital. You will also act as an internal expert on all forms of partnership distribution in the merchant services space as Chase Payments Solutions grows in market.
As an Executive Director, Head of Partnership Distribution in Small Business Payments, you will help manage and grow existing distribution partnerships while also launching new distribution partnerships resulting in small business merchant relationships. Among various distribution channels, you will be primarily focused on existing Franchisees and Associations, with an additional emphasis on expanding into new partnerships with Financial Institutions and external sales organizations. This is a sales leadership role focused on engaging both new relationships and supporting current clients of JPMorganChase. Success requires clear understanding of the complexities around partnership distribution, a strong command of payments / merchant services, exceptional sales acumen, and strong commercial skills.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage and grow an existing distribution partner businessCultivate new business by aligning with the JPMC Financial Institution Group (FIG) Sales to explore partnership opportunitiesSelf-source new partnership opportunities through networking, conferences, and other meansConduct detailed needs assessments for prospective partners focused on their business and strategic prioritiesIdentify JPMC Merchant Services and Payment solutions that provide a unique value proposition to help partners meet their needs and drive revenueEngage Product and cross-Merchant Services functions to form a solution and deliver to meet client needsReview the product roadmap and support various initiatives focused on the partner segmentManage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and deals to ensure results based on successful pipeline management
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
10+ years payment industry experienceSales and Business Development experience with distribution partners such as Associations, Franchisees, Financial Institutions, and external sales organizationsStrong knowledge of the merchant services industry, products and services with technical acumenExperience working with complex partnership models and negotiating referral-type agreementsExecutive presenceStrong communication skillsTeamwork-orientationAbility to thrive in a changing environment and build a business from zero to one
