Each year, the Carroll Center for the Blind helps nearly 1,300 blind or visually impaired children, adults and senior citizens gain the skills they need to live active and fulfilling lives. Our Newton campus houses our rehabilitation program, computer training classes, low vision store, and administrative offices. A large portion of our programs are services conducted in public schools, students’ homes, and their communities.Who We Seek
Are you a college student with an interest in gaining hands-on experience in a non-profit organization?
Then you belong with us!Join our team as a Marketing Intern for the Spring semester and learn from a marketing professional about social media and website content creation, email marketing, collateral design, event promotion, and more!This exciting opportunity will allow you to collaborate with our experienced Development team to better understand how our marketing strategy contributes to our organization’s overall success.Responsibilities
Assist with the design and execution of social media posts and video reels.Help with creating marketing collateral, including flyers, posters, slideshows, and other creative pieces.Support event and program promotion initiatives through various channels, including website, email, and social media.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field required.Prior marketing internship is a plus.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required.Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Docs required.Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.Well-versed in Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn preferred.How To Apply
