You Have:10 years of experience with network, security, and vulnerability analysisExperience with specifications, protocols, deployments, security, and vulnerability assessments of 4G, LTE, and 5G systemsExperience with cyber defense policies, audits of networks, operating systems, applications, databases and other information system components and communicating findings and mitigations to stakeholdersKnowledge of telecommunication protocols, architecture, and processes, including air interface protocolsKnowledge of security architecture and design, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networking, and virus and malware protection technologiesKnowledge of next generation networking solutions such as Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), and network slicingKnowledge of 5G use cases such as Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), smart warehouses, and Vehicle to everything (V2X)Ability to perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities to support the characterization of risk to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system componentsAbility to obtain a security clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology or 15 years of experience with vulnerability assessment in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience with programming and scripting in languages, including C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, or bashExperience with network security and vulnerability analysis tools, including Wireshark and tcpdump, Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS, or MetasploitExperience with cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, or software-defined networkingExperience with Linux OSExperience with creating proof of concepts to demonstrate security weaknessesKnowledge of penetration testing methodologies, including NIST SP 800-115, STRIDE, and MITRE ATT&CKClearance :Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
