The ideal candidate will be able to map critical relationships, players, content, and customer needs to understand the opportunity for a sustainable, recurring business from licensing and new business models.Additionally, they will blend expertise in generative AI technologies, content acquisition, content databases, and publishing to bring our product strategies to life. This role will involve direct interactions with multiple stakeholders, including customers, business development, developer teams, data scientists, and other product managers.How you will make an impact:
Strategic Planning
Develop customer segmentation, use cases, and Wiley value propositions for IP licensing and new business models in AIDevelop and maintain a product roadmap for IP licensing and new business modelsConduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities and risksProduct Development & Testing
Manage the complete product life cycle, from ideation to launch and evaluation.Develop commercial offerings, positioning, and pricing in partnership with customers and business developmentValidate offerings and revise as appropriateTechnical Leadership
Work closely with content operations and technology teams to establish repeatable processes and delivery capabilities to fulfill contractsOversee the technical development and integration of these technologies into existing systems.Stakeholder Management
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align the product vision with organizational goals and customer needs.Facilitate cross-functional team collaborations, especially with publishers, software engineers, finance, and operations.Engage with external stakeholders to understand the rapidly evolving AI landscape and promote Wiley's role in AIEngage with potential partners to design and implement vertical-specific AI application development in target disciplinesAI Ethics & Compliance
Ensure Generative AI licensing and applications comply with ethical norms and industry standards for integrity, bias, and safety.Develop risk mitigation strategies for AI applications.What we look for:
