Data Engineer
Position DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on the integration and enhancement of the Analytic Collaboration Environment - Multi-Intelligence (ACE-M) within the Global Data Integration (GDI) framework. This role is crucial for improving situational awareness, decision-making, and mission planning through advanced multi-intelligence analytics.
This position is located in Omaha, NE.
Your future duties and responsibilitiesData Integration: Develop and maintain data pipelines to integrate ACE-M capabilities into the existing GDI framework.Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless data fusion and analytic processes.Data Management: Design and implement scalable data storage solutions to handle large volumes of multi-source intelligence data.Analytics: Support the development of real-time analytics tools and dashboards to enhance situational awareness.Daily Data Validation: Conduct daily data validation checks against operational data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Data Quality: Identify, document, and resolve data defects to maintain a robust operational baseline.Design and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.Security: Ensure the security and integrity of data throughout the integration and deployment process.
Required qualifications to be successful in this roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in data engineering, preferably within a multi-intelligence environment.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.Strong understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Key Competencies:Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.Knowledge of ACE-M and its applications within a GDI framework is a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
