Join our world-class team today Position Specific Description NextEra Energy is seeking an experienced IT Business System Analyst to join our AMI/Smart Grid & FPLSO Alliance Team. This role combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, and Technology Team Facilitator. The ideal candidate will analyze as well as own business and team processes, identify technology opportunities, and implement IT processes along with solutions that align with our team goals and strategies. Key Responsibilities: Agile Project Management: Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Provide guidance on writing user stories, features, and epics, ensuring a well-maintained backlog and product roadmap. Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and promote a collaborative team environment. Business Analysis: Develop a strong familiarity with business and team processes in the assigned area of focus. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, maintain transparency, and drive alignment with business objectives. Apply analytical skills to decompose work into manageable value-based units. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems. Identify interdependencies and functional gaps using knowledge of business processes. Design and implement IT processes or solutions to meet needs and business goals. Build a strong working understanding of the processes and solutions being delivered. Analyze and determine failure points in processes and solutions. Create, update and manage documentation. Process Improvement and Innovation: Implement process improvements, utilizing data-driven analysis to enhance team productivity and delivery. Maintain familiarity with market trends in areas of focus. Conceptualize and execute initiatives to drive operational excellence and employee engagement. Stakeholder Management: Establish and manage effective relationships with all team members, business units, human resources, finance, facilities, vendor management, supply chain, legal and all other IT departments. Respond to requests, identify conflicts, and make recommendations where needed. Financial Management: Manage financial forecasting, budgets, process invoices, and mitigate variances contributing to financial strategy and optimization. Team, Office and Culture Development: Support the coordination and ownership of cross functional team activities, workspace and facility strategies. Drive fostering a positive, dynamic, team-based culture characterized by trust and enthusiasm. Key owner in employee engagement efforts and team-building activities.
