Business Analyst II Location: This position is part of our Hybrid Workforce Model and requires a minimum of 1 2 days/week in office. Must reside within 50 miles/1 hr commute of a relevant PulsePoint location. The Business Analyst ll is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements. How you will make an impact Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Analyzes complex business processes, data, and stakeholder needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs. Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues. Creates specific business application, database, and reporting to address complex business and operations needs. Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit. Works with cross functional teams to ensure requirements will be incorporated into systems, reporting, and procedures. Acts as a resource to Provider Solutions, Contract Management, and Health Economics to address questions/issues. Minimum Requirements BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Provider Contracts strongly preferred. Solid understanding of, and experience working with, Chargemaster components. Provider Relations background. Knowledge of Provider Reimbursement, Medical Billing, ICD Codes, Claims, or any combination. Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred. 5-7 years of audit and/or business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations. Advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, database, and reporting skills required. Experience in interpreting contract language and writing policies and procedures preferred.
