Newly hired State employees may be placed at the minimum of the salary range. Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employee may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will provide technical and analytical support to the Personnel Office in the form of Position Control, budgetary related functions, and Classification & Pay duties.

Working ConditionsFolsom State Prison is located approximately 30 miles east of downtown Sacramento and just minutes from old town Folsom. The grounds of the prison are surrounded by beautiful landscaping and friendly wild animals (deer, squirrels, turkeys, geese, etc.).
