SVP/Chief Operations Officer

Role:
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational functions of the credit union, including branch locations, the call center, and the training department. The COO ensures efficient, effective, and consistent operations across all touchpoints while maintaining a high standard of member service, employee development, and operational excellence. This role collaborates closely with other executive team members to implement strategies that enhance member experience, improve operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with the credit union's strategic goals. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- Leads and manages all branch operations, ensuring consistency, member satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals. Collaborates with branch managers to drive efficiency, membership growth, and enhanced services. Oversees staffing, performance metrics, and compliance, conducting regular reviews and site visits. Spearheads initiatives for branch modernization, improved member service, and resource optimization. 20%
- Oversees training programs to equip employees for their roles, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent service. Ensures continuous training for all staff and collaborates with the Training Manager on leadership, team-building, products, procedures, policies, technology, changes, implementations, and operational development initiatives. 20%
- Leads initiatives to enhance the member experience across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency with the credit union's member-centric approach. Analyzes member feedback to drive continuous service improvements.
