Brenens Cafe Catering Manager: Do you like working with people? Are you good at planning events? If so, the position of Catering Supervisor for Brenen’s Café could be perfect for you. We are looking for friendly, organized, energetic, and quality-focused Catering Supervisor to represent Brenen’s Café and our products to the Ohio State Medical Center Community.

To maintain this standard, we need a Catering Supervisor who is friendly, organized, punctual, and a team player who can oversee food orders from start to finish for catering events. Before you join our team there are a few basic requirements for the Catering Supervisor position.
Responsibilities: Catering orders are a huge part of our business. At Brenen’s Café we pride ourselves in being able to deliver high-quality and delicious catering orders to small and large events. We work extensively with The Ohio State University, the OSU Medical Center as well as the surrounding businesses. We strive for excellence in every aspect of a catering order—from customer service to the standard of our food. As a Catering Supervisor, it is your responsibility to see the customer’s experience is exceptional from the initial order through their actual event.
Experience/Knowledge: We expect applicants to have experience in the restaurant industry and catering. Being punctual and handling yourself professionally are also vital. In addition, Catering Supervisor must be able to communicate (both verbally and written) clearly with co-workers and clients so orders are made and delivered on-time and accurately. When problems do arise, we expect our Catering Managers to be poised under pressure and find solutions.
Other: All Catering Supervisors must be at least 18 years old and able to clearly communicate in English. They also need to be physically able to lift, carry, setup, and clean up catering orders.
Overview: Since we are only open breakfast and lunch, our expected hours would be from 8:00 - 4:00. We pay between $15 - $17 per hour (Plus Catering Tips) to our Catering Supervisors.
