Position Summary:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner - Customer Integration is responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and analysis of the Integrated Customer programs for North America. In this position you will work cross functionally with Sales, Operations, the Business Units, and Customers to analyze customer demand forecasts, propose replenishment orders, support Sales and Operations Planning processes, provide critical data analytics, and administer Prysmian’s Vendor Managed and Consignment Inventory programs.
Job Objectives:
Support critical business reporting needs via daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements along with related data analytics
Support monthly Demand Planning process, organizing team inputs to estimate demand forecasts within ERP systems
Provide Sales Forecast Accuracy reporting, tracking, and analysis to continuously improve demand planning effectiveness
Administer the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs through utilization of e-commerce platform and related analyses while optimizing cost, working capital, and customer satisfaction
Administer the Consignment Inventory programs including day-to-day inventory transactions, weekly reporting requirements, annual physical inventory reviews, and adherence to the corporate operating policy
Support Power Distribution Sales and Operations Planning processes
Support the development of Continuous Improvement tools and processes to enhance business efficiency and accelerate performance
Skills and Qualifications:
1 or more years of supply chain, warehousing, or data analytics
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations, Engineering, or Business
Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (SAP knowledge is a plus)
Experience with Database or PowerBI systems
APICS and Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines daily with limited supervision
Willingness to work varying hours in critical situations
