Oracle’s A-Team is an elite group within Oracle Product Development and is seeking a highly passionate Cloud Solution Architect to work in our Data Management and Analytics team. The position will be based in the US or Canada but will involve working with customers and engineering globally.

Be a technical expert in the Data Management and Analytics domain.
Be involved in, and contribute to multidisciplinary projects focused on architecting, designing, and prototyping complex cloud solutions for our largest most high-profile customers.
Be responsible for carefully supporting complex engagements, cooperating across teams, and advising on the usage of Oracle's Cloud services and tooling.
Have the opportunity to build innovative prototypes to showcase innovation to customers and Product Development.
Assess cloud solutions either in pre-sales or post-sales stages and provide guidance using best practices to internal and external parties on design to ensure a successful implementation.
Identify recurring patterns/solutions, convert them into reference architecture playbooks and blog about them on our Chronicles platform, for broader re-use across the entire ecosystem – Oracle, Partners, and Customers.
Establish relationships and feedback channels with Product Management and Engineering, ultimately resulting in product improvements and innovations.

Your Technical Skills (required + desired)
We know not every candidate will have everything, but we have a list of what we need and what we would like.
We are looking for someone with experience and who knows their stuff. These experiences only come with time, so we feel a minimum of 6 years is about right given the high-profile nature of this position.
Required Experience.
Solution Development and Design. Demonstrable working knowledge of the methods of solution architectural design.
Oracle Analytics Cloud and/or Fusion Data Intelligence.
Cloud Native Technologies – Preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Oracle SaaS. Demonstrates experience of Oracle Applications from an Analytics/data Integration perspective. Experience, in either ERP, HCM or CX (or willing to develop your skills in this space).
Data Warehousing and Data Modelling.
ETL: ODI, Data Transform and/or OCI DI, GoldenGate, ADB experience.
Desired Experience.
PaaS and IaaS-related technologies – such networking, integration, security, compute, storage, will be an advantage.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification.
Big Data Services.
Streaming - Apache Kafka, Stream Analytics.
Data Science: from an Analytics and ETL perspective.
Coding/Scripting. One or more, Application Development Languages in either Java; Groovy, JavaScript, Python, PL/SQL, Node.js and/or Visual Builder.

Location: United States or Canada. This is a 100% remote role and travel is not required/expected.

Canada: Hiring Range from $76,700 to $167,000 CAD per annum
US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
