Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

A leading general contractor construction firm is currently seeking a Project Manager specializing in overseeing land development and civil construction projects. With a wide portfolio of road, bridge, or highway civil construction projects, the Project Manager will be responsible for 2-3 project engineers or assistant project managers and ensuring responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.This contractor operates primarily in Rhode Island, so the Project Manager is not expected to travel often. The contractor also has an industry-leading culture with a backbone of long-term staff that the candidate will integrate with. Bid package preparation, prepare bid tabulations, and offer suggestions for selections by ownersDirecting scheduling, budgeting, and biddingReviewing requests for changes and providing approvalInteracting directly with the client, manager, vendors, and other contractorsQualifications

A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)10 years of experience in field management preferredStrong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and design of construction projectsStrong leadership, people, and communication skillsBenefits/Perks
