Operations Manager
supports the General Manager with complete oversight of financials and operations of the assigned portfolio to ensure 24/7 professional parking management.Principal Job Duties:Handle Management Account clients.Develop client relationships and business retention.Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction.Assist with business development, proposals, presentations, and transitions for new locations.Lead, direct, and develop a team to accomplish goals and initiatives.Identify high potential employees for organizational growth.Plan and execute opening plans for new locations.Prepare budgets and conduct monthly profit/loss reviews.Organize parking management skills training for Facilities Managers.Implement and deliver contractual requirements with clients.Prepare financial and operational reports as required.Manage activities of Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers.Serve as a liaison to parking patrons and stakeholders.Implement and complete projects and initiatives.Participate in labor contract management if applicable.Review and edit proposed agreements.Communicate with local police and emergency management teams.Oversee event operations within LAZ Parking.Monitor and analyze market rate structures.Complete additional related duties as assigned.Requirements:Understanding of P&L.Ability to run monthly client reports.Ability to manage the client-LAZ relationship.Willingness to travel to different locations.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.3+ years of Multi-Unit Management Experience.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.Skills:Strong business writing experience.Parking management experience of multiple locations.Ability to encourage improvement and creative problem solving.Strong customer service skills.Ability to facilitate coaching conversations.Ability to overcome challenges and lead others.Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and multi-task.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Ability to interpret policies and procedures.Demonstrates a sense of urgency.Physical Demands:Willingness to work in various weather conditions.Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently.The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
