SME II – SharePoint Developer

We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee’s knowledge, critical thinking, innovative solutions for our clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide SharePoint (SP) site collection services, including enhancing ARX SP site and development of new site features.Provide consultations to ARX regarding CDC’s enterprise SP standards, processes and governance as it relates to both internal and external sites.Provide consultations to program regarding the SP site installation, enhancements, maintenance and development on an enterprise SP system.Provide consultations consisting of processes for starting and/or migrating SP sites, type of SP sites allowed, governance process, development process, documentation process, security process and other SP processes.Stay informed of changes to CDC enterprise SP processes for internal and external SP sites.Facilitate program SP site implementations by escalating issues and problems to the appropriate CDC contact or by providing alternative acceptable solutions.Provide consultation to ARX program for CDC’s SP site processes for internal implementations, external implementations, development.Provide efficient and accurate technical documentation of consultations and meetings, ensuring section 508 compliance, accurately describing conversations held during consultations, and distributing via email to meeting participants and division SP contacts.Share knowledge and technical expertise through publishing, teaching, and/or mentoring.Attend CDC SP meetings and other related CDC meetings and communicate information and knowledge within ARX and the larger CDC and Public Health community.Provide all technical and system administration duties and analysis of an SP Site administrator.Provide system analysis for SP site creation and planning of new sites and requirements gathering and testing prior to implementation of a live site within established taxonomy.Provide SP website design for home page and site pages using SP web parts.Support the program in using site templates, spreadsheet/database importation, user permissions.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBS degree in computer science or software engineering.Minimum 5 years of SharePoint experience, of which approximately 2 years must be specialized in the areas of project management.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Previous experience as a SharePoint developer.Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks, Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services, high-level coding skills.Ability to solve complex software issues.Ability to manage projects.Detail oriented and self-motivated.Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.Teleworking Permitted?
