The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.How you will create an impactThe Standard Commercial Underwriting Program is a multi-year initiative to transform AIG’s underwriting business processes, products, and technology solutions.The SCUP Program is a high-paced, high-intensity environment that is leading the underwriting transformation at AIG.The Delivery Office Lead runs the SCUP delivery office, with overall accountability for defining and executing all program processes including Resource Management, Financial Management, Risk/Issue Management, Vendor/Contract Management, Status Reporting, and overall Program Governance.The ideal candidate is looking for a challenging role executing complex end-to-end transformation delivery projects and programs. They will be experienced with transformation delivery, agile release planning principles, and program/project management.What you'll need to succeedExperience:
10+ years delivering complex system integration projects5+ years of hands-on project managementBachelor's Degree or equivalent
Ability to function in a demanding matrixed environmentStrong global IT Delivery experience and expertise in P&C insurance transformationStrong understanding of project/program management processes and proceduresVery organized with strong attention to detailConsulting or project transformation experience at an intermediate levelLeadership: Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well. Excellent team skills. Can successfully organize and influence large teams of people. Energetic leader with a positive attitude and a go-getter drive. Ability to effectively interact with senior management.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments. Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally.Self-motivated and self-sufficient.Comfortable voicing opinions and representing the viewpoints of others in a productive manner.Ability to deal well with ambiguity, conflict, and difficult situations, and ability to deal with change in a proactive and positive manner.Ready to make a bigger impact?
