Sr. Manager Global Content Strategy

In this role you will be a proven leader and team player with a broad range of knowledge, experience and expertise in content strategy, execution and analysis. Reporting to the Director of Global Creative Services, you will set the vision and strategy for Global Content Marketing aligned with the vision of our luxury resort brands, with a proven understanding of the role content plays at every stage of the customer journey, nuanced content for varied audiences, localization and narrative. This is a cross-functional and global role which requires a high degree of collaboration and stakeholder management as well as leadership of direct reports and agency partners.A successful Sr. Manager Global Content Strategy will:Conceptualize and lead global-minded content strategies and initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, positioning and drive conversion across key mediums including multi-lingual digital and print advertising, brand + luxury resort websites, out-of-home and event collateral.Serve as a team leader and mentor in support of team member guiding the growth and development of our copywriting team.Lead the localization and translation strategy, process and implementation.Serve as a brand steward, supporting and articulating brand promise, vision, position, and architecture.Collaborate with in-house creative team and cross-departmental SMEs on content asset needs and development.Ensure all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and follows industry standards for accessibility and user experience.Lead the ongoing refinement of our translation processes and workflow as well as vendor management.A successful Sr. Manager Global Content Strategy will have:Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.10+ years’ proven experience in digital content management with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated direct team management experience.Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of audience, localization, best practices and engagement.Deep experience in creative concepting and copywriting across traditional and digital mediums.Experience with translation management systems, memory software and content management systems.Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media strategies, and content distribution.Experience successfully launching content campaigns across multiple international markets.Proficient in content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and social media management platforms.Current Travel/Hotel/Hospitality industry experience a plus.Experience with high end luxury brands and market segments.Advanced MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must be well-organized, have strong project management skills, be able to work well under pressure and adjust to changing deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and editorial capabilities.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel.Bilingual with demonstrated written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish languages is preferred.
