Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.SciTec has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Security Manager/Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage the physical security and security infrastructure of our Boulder offices. The SM/FSO will be responsible for supervising our Boulder Security staff and directing security measures necessary for developing and implementing security procedures in accordance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).ResponsibilitiesSupervise Security staff to develop their optimal performance and growthMaintain all documentation required to obtain and maintain a Facility ClearanceOversee the security for classified security programs operating within the SciTec Boulder facilityAdminister day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program security reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.Maintain personnel clearances, investigations, reports, and foreign travel in DISSPrimary POC for security matters with DCSAReview DD254s to ensure adherence to classified programs, including developing DD-254s for subcontractorsDevelop and administer a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program, to include Initial & Annual Security Refresher TrainingRespond to emergency alarm calls off hoursInvestigate and report security violations and incidentsPerform required self-inspections of security program, resolving possible security violations and initiating measures to correct security deficienciesProcess incoming & outgoing Visit Access Requests (VARs) for employees, customers, and partnersMaintain access control and intrusion detection systemsWork with the Corporate FSO and company-wide security teamEstablish and maintain working relationships with government and internal customersProvide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnelDevelop and/or contribute to corporate and location security policy and SOPs/SPPsSupport the maintenance of COMSEC material with the COMSEC ManagerMaintain Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programContribute to the RMF process for information systems as it pertains to physical and environmental security, personnel security, and incident response.Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsMust be a U.S. CitizenBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMust have an active Secret, or higher, U.S. government security clearance10+ years' experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO)/Security Manager, or equivalent position10+ years' experience managing people, preferably in a Security roleCompleted CDSE FSO for Possessing Facilities CertificationWorking knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM requirements for a possessing facility and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standardsWorking knowledge of DISS, NISS, SWFT, and e-QIPExperience in initiating and maintaining U.S. government security clearance applicationsSeasoned knowledge of multiple functional areas and DoD security programsAbility to effectively and proactively interact with staff, leadership, industry partners, and customer agenciesSelf-starter with ability to work independentlyAbility to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operationsAbility to provide leadership and work with a diverse team and upper management to ensure compliance with security directivesAbility to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and proceduresProficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated attention to detailAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, and climb laddersAbility to lift up to 40 poundsSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)3% Fully Vested Company 401K Contribution (no employee contribution required)100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options80% company paid Dental insurance100% company paid Vision insurance100% company paid Life insurance100% company paid Long-term Disability insurance100% company paid Hospital Indemnity insuranceVoluntary Accident and Critical Illness insuranceShort-term Disability insuranceAnnual Profit-Sharing PlanDiscretionary Performance BonusPaid Parental LeaveGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick PayFlexible Work HoursThe pay range for this position is $128,000 - $155,000/year.
