As we expand our portfolio to include innovative HR solutions, we are seeking a visionary
Vice President of Product . This pivotal role will shape our product strategy and drive growth through user-centric, innovative solutions that meet our customers' evolving needs.We're looking for a dynamic leader passionate about creating exceptional products, adept at leveraging market insights, and skilled in data-driven decision-making. As our first VP of Product, you'll build and lead a high-performing team, collaborate cross-functionally, and spearhead initiatives that significantly enhance revenue growth and customer adoption.What You'll Do:
Product Strategy & Vision:
Within 6 months, audit our current product suite and build a 5-year product vision to scale EasyLlama's offerings with the goal of increasing revenues ten-fold. This includes conducting market analyses, gathering customer insights, and proposing innovative disruption opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure alignment with revenue and adoption goals.User-Centric Approach:
Develop and implement a comprehensive user-centric product approach, including quarterly user research (20+ interviews and one large-scale survey), and a data-driven decision-making framework applied to at least 80% of major product decisions.Innovation & Disruption:
Drive innovation by establishing a comprehensive process for generating and scoping new product ideas, conducting proactive market research to identify improvement opportunities, and leading brainstorming sessions for new product formats. Additionally, spearhead initiatives to explore and integrate AI technologies into our product offerings, while creating and managing a New Technology working group within 6 months to stay ahead of industry trends.Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product organization, fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in product development processes and practices.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Within 3 months, establish and lead a cross-functional product launch process, from requirements definition to commercialization, ensuring alignment with design, engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners on product-related matters. Communicate product plans, progress, and updates effectively to ensure alignment and transparency across the organization.Customer-Centric Approach:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product success and performance. Regularly analyze user behavior through cohort analysis across various dimensions (e.g., industry, size, location) to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements. Leverage feedback from targeted surveys and interviews to ensure our products align with evolving customer needs and expectations.Business Partnership & Revenue Growth:
Act as a key business partner to drive product initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and profitability. Work on cohesive positioning, packaging, and pricing of features and products. Identify opportunities to monetize products through product-led growth (PLG), pricing strategies, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and new market expansion. Collaborate with marketing teams on go-to-market initiatives and product marketing strategies to ensure that our positioning reflects our expanded platform vision and resonates with target audiences.User Experience (UX) and Design:
Work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that EasyLlama's products deliver exceptional user experiences that meet the needs and preferences of target customers. Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices throughout the product development process, ensuring that user feedback is integrated into design iterations and product enhancements.Team Leadership:
Lead and nurture a high-performing team that includes product managers and product designers by providing mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and inspiring them to deliver high-quality products that meet and exceed user expectations. Collaborate closely with the content team to ensure that all training materials and product offerings are effective, engaging, and aligned with our overall product strategy.Who You Are:
You have 7-10+ years in senior product management roles in the SaaS industry with a proven track record of success in developing and launching software products.You possess a startup entrepreneurship mindset and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment by being ambitious, proactive, and adaptable.Strategic vision is second nature to you through the ability to understand market trends, innovate, and develop product strategy aligned with business goals.You can effectively lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive consensus, and develop high-performing teams.You have an understanding of technology and software development with the ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements.You've got strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to inform product strategy and optimize product performance.Communication is key for you.
