is recruiting for the following opportunity:Patent Attorney or Patent Agent opportunity to work remotely. Your responsibilities will be dependent upon your legal experience and/or technical background. Responsibilities include:Preparation and prosecution of US patentsStrategic portfolio counselingPatent opinions (validity, infringement, right to use, patentability)Possible PTAB, licensing, and trademark workDepending on your technical background, you may deal with:Electrical engineering (industrial and consumer electronics hardware, analog and/or digital circuits, RF, semiconductors)Computer and telecommunications systems (networking and protocols, WiFi)Software engineering (network security, enterprise applications, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source)This is an excellent opportunity within a progressive firm, offering comprehensive client interaction. The existing client base is well distributed and includes a broad spectrum of large and small clients. This is premiere work with a talented group of peers, with flexible hours, client origination incentives, production incentives, and more. An existing book is not required, but if you have portables, that would certainly be valued as well.Requirements:
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer SciencePatent Bar (and any State Bar for an associate) are requiredAn M.S. or higher would be valued, as well as any prior applicable engineering product development experienceAt least 3-4 years of solid US patent preparation and prosecution experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or software artsAdditional Notes for Candidates:
