Apply expert understanding of social science disciplines, research methodology, and statistics to investigate, analyze, and evaluate workforce demographics for Aerospace. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees. Explore and exploit data sources through the use and creation of scientific processes and technologies to uncover and communicate business insights.Basic Qualifications:2+ years of experience conducting social science, public health, or labor and workforce research2+ years of experience creating verbal and written communication products for non-technical clients, including research reports, PowerPoint briefing decks, and information papers2+ years of experience creating data visualizations to communicate trends and generate insightsExperience interpreting statistical findings and presenting data and research results to non-technical audiencesKnowledge of research methodology, including qualitative methods, quantitative methods, and statisticsAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in a Social Science or Data Science fieldAdditional Qualifications:Experience applying public health and social science research in a government settingKnowledge of workforce research and policyKnowledge of multivariate statistical methods, including logistic regression, multivariate regression, or multilevel modelingAbility to leverage quantitative methodology to shape research questions and data modelsAbility to operationalize key research conceptsAbility to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentMaster’s degree in Social Science, Data Science, or a related fieldClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Compensation:The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD).
