LinQuest is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Dayton, OH. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Federal security clearance required.DESCRIPTION:The Staff Data Scientist will collaborate with team members in the development of new or updated procedures by using analytics applications to transform large amounts of raw data into useful information through data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. The Staff Data Scientist will perform data mining, data modeling, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets then interpret and report data findings to team and organizational leaders.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team on analytical techniquesPerforming ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear mannerUnderstand business performance as well as answer questions to drive product actionsAnalyze operational data to drive optimization efforts, identify trends or relationships among variables, or resolve operational complicationsImplement procedures to evaluate organizational activitiesAssist in creation of scientific or mathematical models and visual representations of informationPrepare analytical reports and data for analysisRecommend new data streams and ensure data integrityStay abreast on new research methods and procedures to stay current in the fieldWrite computer programming codeREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Typically, 4-6 years of experience and/or contract requirements to move to an S3Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative science or equivalent technical fieldProficient with coding languages (Python, R, SQL) and understanding algorithmsAbility to apply Machine Learning TechniquesAbility to apply DoD policies to program plansA passion for solving problems and providing workable solutionsAbility to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution across specialty technical activitiesStrong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomesProficiency in troubleshooting issuesStrong all-round communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyDemonstrated ability to communicate well in English, verbally and through written documentationAbility to effectively operate in the team-work environment and communicate with team membersProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsShows initiative by learning new technologiesWorks well with othersProficient problem-solving abilities for the purpose of producing excellent solutionsMust have the ability to obtain a DoD Security ClearancePREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
