We are in search of a Sr Software Engineer who will work with an awesome team of developers. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to Market Scan's existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.What you will do:Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.Determine, document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.Understand and collaborate business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them.What we are looking for:8+ years of experience as a software engineer.6+ years of experience in C# .NET including Web services and JavaScript.4+ years professional experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, design patterns, covering indexes).Advanced knowledge in OOP (static constructors, heap, reflection, memory management).Expert level in TPL dataflow design (tasks, threads, semaphores, locks).Familiarity with APIs, deep knowledge of HTTP request/response handling in .NET.Experience owning a task or project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.Ability to provide on-call or after hour support as needed (limited) on a rotation basis.Right to Work Requirements:

the United States .Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.About S&P Global Mobility:
