is recruiting for the following opportunity:This is an opportunity for a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to work 100% remotely. The primary focus will be the preparation and prosecution of US patents for US and foreign clients, strategic portfolio counseling, and patent opinions (validity, infringement, right to use, patentability), with the possibility for other work as well (e.g., PTAB work, due diligence, licensing). Your responsibilities will be dependent upon your legal experience.This is also an excellent opportunity within a progressive firm. You will have the opportunity for comprehensive client interaction. The existing client base is well distributed and includes a broad spectrum of large and small clients.This is premiere work with a talented group of peers with flexible hours, client origination incentives, production incentives, and more. An existing book is not required, but if you have portables, that would certainly be valued as well.Requirements:
Minimum Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or possibly Chemical Engineering. Patent Bar (and State Bar for an associate) are required.Must have at least 3 years of solid US patent preparation and prosecution experience primarily relating to chemistry.Notes for Potential Candidates:All fees are paid by client firms and companies. As a consequence of our reputation for having integrity and providing results, we often work on exclusive assignments that are not advertised.Another important distinction is that we work directly with the decision makers (partners, managing counsels, etc.) that make the determinations regarding who will be interviewed, who will be extended an offer, etc.You have our express commitment that all information is accepted in confidence and that no resumes are submitted without first speaking to you and obtaining your explicit permission.
