Fork Truck Operator IN - Warehouse - 2nd Shift

SUMMARYThis position will accurately and efficiently pick orders while using first in first out (FIFO) methods to fulfill customer orders.
All our positions start at $22.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:•Follow all Safety, SQF, GMP, and housekeeping rules and regulations•Efficiently and safely operate fork truck in a potentially hazardous environment (wet, sloped floors, heavypedestrian traffic)•Responsible for proper use and maintenance of the scanning system•Verify cases picked to match Bill of Lading•Daily safety and maintenance check of vehicle•Communicate all issues to management for improvements•Properly and accurately completing paperwork•Other duties as assigned
FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES•Ship product free of contamination•Follow all Ken's Foods Security and GMP policies•Report any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant•Inspect work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis•Report any leaking or spilled product immediately•Inspect all incoming and outgoing loads for signs of product contamination
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to speak effectively beforegroups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to performthese operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduleform.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsOSHA Certificate or prior fork truck license preferred.
