As an Associate Account Director, you will manage client relationships and account strategy for mid- to large-sized healthIT and other technology accounts. You’ll be responsible for account health, retention and growth, including developing clear and thoughtful strategies that meet client objectives; overseeing account deliverables; building strong client relationships; proactively delivering creative ideas; and ensuring we’re delivering exceptional work on time and on budget, and results that are aligned with client goals. In collaboration with our public relations, strategy and performance marketing, creative, technology and experience design teams, you’ll develop multi-faceted programs that meet client business needs. Our Associate Account Directors have agency account management experience and a strong understanding of PR and marketing strategies, lead by example, are highly collaborative, and are self-starters.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboard new accounts and ensure they consistently remain on track, in collaboration with departments and leadership.Lead day-to-day account management, serving as a trusted advisor by demonstrating business, industry and performance knowledge, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.Lead account strategy, integrated plan development and campaign planning in collaboration with agency departments and senior leadership.Oversee plan execution, measurement and analysis; deliver excellent client service and communications, ensuring client needs are consistently being met.Work closely with clients to understand their business, challenges and needs - asking thoughtful questions - and articulate them effectively to account teamsEnsure clients are providing the right strategic guidance and direction to inform briefs/work.Identify opportunities for growth, foster innovative thinking across the team and deliver solutions-oriented ideas both within and outside client scopes to ensure goals are being met.Gain a deep understanding of Alloy solutions and evolving marketing trends; proactively research and collaborate with departments to build account strategies.Lead client strategy meetings and quarterly account performance reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with leadership in order to continuously drive accounts forward.Manage account budgeting, revenue tracking and profitability.Anticipate potential conflicts or resource variables that could affect client relationship or project delivery and offer up timely solutions for avoiding roadblocks.Manage and mentor junior account team members utilizing Alloy’s virtues, tools and training.Support presentation of new business proposals as needed.Be a SME internally and externally around healthIT PR and marketing.SKILLS NEEDED
You’re accountable, transparent, empathetic, resilient, collaborative, and a creative problem solver.Minimum 8 years experience serving in an account management role, including healthcare / healthIT.Ability to lead accounts / account teams, build strong rapport with clients, understand clients’ businesses at both strategic and tactical levels, and deliver high quality, detail-oriented work.Display powerful presentation skills that invite participation and effect desired outcomes.Strong experience crafting and executing PR and marketing campaigns with excellent results; leading team and client planning sessions; and communicating with stakeholders.Can lead cross-capability teams to deliver creative thinking and powerful ideas that meet client objectives. Uses analysis to drive decisions (as opposed to taking orders) in a way that yields sustained, measurable results.You are familiar with marketing and analytics software such as CMS platforms, social and media monitoring tools, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Jira/Kantata (or other project management software), Google, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS.BENEFITS
