Forklift Operator / Warehouse Labor
The forklift operators are responsible for picking items using roll clamps, box clamp, single/double forks and regular forks on sit-down forklifts. This position requires operation of equipment larger than a standard 5000# lift, experience is required. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, able to work with minimal direction, adaptable to changes as they arise, focused on details, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The forklift operator reports directly to the site supervisor and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that operates in multiple locations based on business needs.
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pmStarting Pay $16.00 per hour ($820 per week)Receive weekly payPrimary Job Duties Include:
Load and unload rail cars, trailers, and flatbed trucksMove and stack materialsSeparate, inspect, and pack product per customer instructionsReceive and process shipments using RF ScannersUse proper handling instructions per product specificationsDocument product damages as they are identifiedGeneral housekeeping duties in production areasComply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulationsPerform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and proceduresRequirements
Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)Must be 18 years of age or older1 year Warehouse Experience (preferred)1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience RequiredMust be able to lift 25 lbs. unassistedMust be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shiftMust be flexible with working in multiple site locationsAll employees receive:
