All powered by Mark, the premier copilot for social media management.About the RoleAs a core member of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure and product-facing features that define the Scrollmark experience. You’ll work on essential platform components, collaborate across teams, and apply your expertise in building systems to drive a seamless user experience. In this role, you’ll:Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems and APIs that directly impact user-facing featuresDevelop and refine distributed systems, performance optimization techniques, and integration of third-party tools, including familiarity with modern AI tooling where relevantWork closely with product and UX teams to iterate based on customer feedback and improve user experienceStay up-to-date with industry trends, leveraging advancements to enhance platform efficiency and stabilityBalance product-focused feature development with technical excellence to ensure a seamless, high-quality user experienceAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who has:5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, delivering production-ready codeProven experience with backend systems, distributed architectures, and API design for scalable applicationsStrong understanding of time series data, metrics collection, and statistical analysis to drive data-informed decision-making and optimize performanceFamiliarity with modern AI/ML tooling is a plus, such as prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldA strong product mindset, with a commitment to building impactful features that drive the success of the productA growth mindset—you learn quickly, work independently, and are excited to build, iterate, and launch features that shape our productWhy Scrollmark?This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career and work directly with our CTO, with additional support and mentorship from senior team members.
