Amazon is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing leader to drive awareness, customer adoption, and demand generation for Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the state and local government (SLG) and education (EDU) market. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.
Responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for developing and delivering aligned marketing programs and will interface directly with the SLG and EDU business and sales stakeholders. Collaborate with business and sales leaders on go-to-market strategy including market segmentation, messaging, marketing channels, and campaign execution. Develop and execute aligned field marketing plans including digital, content, and events to drive demand generation and pipeline in support of SLG & EDU sales targets. Leverage and tailor corporate-level product marketing campaigns and materials to accelerate and maximize results in SLG & EDU business. Communicate regularly with internal business and sales leaders including regular updates with the broader SLG & EDU sales teams. Ensure SLG & EDU target customers, customer stories, partners, and business priorities are top of mind in all marketing activities. Earn trust and maintain strong relationships across organization to support their goals, working in conjunction with other marketing leaders and with peers, increasing engagement with marketing and driving program support. Monitor and report on campaign results and effectiveness, including ROI and recommended changes as needed. Lead campaign reporting and post-mortems, ensuring all projects have clearly defined success metrics which are tracked, analyzed, and communicated. Willingness and ability to work independently and autonomously. Qualifications
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables). Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data. Experience participating and leading marketing recommendations in sales team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions. Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
