The Tech Operations Analyst's role is to drive major TRR exercises and manage overall resiliency tests across all 3 geographies of AFI - US, India, and EMEA. We need a person who can provide technical oversight in the review of TRR plans and identify opportunities for resiliency, recovery, and automation. Drive automation for simulation of failure scenarios to be leveraged during exercises. Head BCM product features development within the team in a federated model. Lead TRR program maturity toward zero downtime goal for critical applications recovery. Facilitate application failover as a recovery mechanism during major incidents. Drive DR Operations deliverables for successful completion aligned to prioritized product roadmap. Responsible for developing and reporting on KPI for the DR Program. Create and execute recovery events during exercises as required by the DR program. Participate in the ORR process to ensure smooth transition of applications in production.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive major TRR exercises and manage overall resiliency tests across all 3 geographies of AFI - US, India, and EMEA.Provide technical oversight in the review of TRR plans and identify opportunities for resiliency, recovery, and automation.Proficiency in scripting languages, like Python or Shell/PowerShell.Drive automation for simulation of failure scenarios to be leveraged during exercises.Lead TRR program maturity toward zero downtime goal for critical applications recovery.Facilitate application failover as a recovery mechanism during major incidents.Drive DR Operations deliverables for successful completion aligned to prioritized product roadmap.Develop and report on KPI for the DR Program.Create and execute recovery events during exercises as required by the DR program.Participate in the ORR process to ensure smooth transition of applications in production.Required QualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.2-4 years of experience in relevant disciplines, including:At least 2-4 years of strong experience in managing overall resiliency tests.At least 2-4 years in scripting languages, like Python or Shell/PowerShell.Hands-on experience in automated failover/failback of recovery activities and automation.Hands-on experience to drive automation for simulation of failure scenarios.Working knowledge on zero downtime goal for mission-critical applications recovery.Knowledge of ITIL practices.Hands-on experience in creating and executing recovery events during exercises.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with the following tools will be an added advantage:Service NowBCMAutomation tools or scripting knowledge/experienceSound knowledge about Cloud Technology and exposure to AWSFamiliarity with monitoring toolsAbout Our CompanyAmeriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions to help clients plan and achieve their financial objectives for 125 years.
