This position is primarily responsible for partnering with Business Banking teammates collect documents required prior to loan closing, produce loan documents through the bank's internal documentation system and ensure loan closing requirements are met.Position AccountabilitiesAbility to work effectively independently and be a team playerResponds to inquiries relating to his or her particular area or to requests from customers and other Bank personnel within given time frames and within established policy.Supports other teams within the departmentUnderstanding team processes and procedures and provide updates and/or improvementsAdhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with the Bank's BSA/AML Policy and ProceduresOrder flood certification, title insurance, and other required third party information to insure proper documentation and perfection of collateral in adherence of policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsProactively communicate loan status with Business Banking Managers and Assistants throughout the process; respond to questions in a timely manner and notify all parties when additional information is neededMust have a thorough understanding of commercial lending documentation (real estate, unsecured and simple secured loans) for proper generation of needed documents (credit agreements, promissory notes, renewals, etc.) and closingCreates loan documentation for the most complex Business Banking transactions.Acts as an advisor to Business Banking Specialists I on the proper way to document loans.Creates all required loan documents,Ensures loan is funded properlyMaintain thorough knowledge of documentation required to meet underwriting and compliance requirementsPrepare general ledger entries and/or wire transfers as neededEnsure excellent service is provided to our internal partners and customers.Identifies and resolves issues within assigned teamPerforms all other job duties as assigned and provide assistance to support teamProvide high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information.Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure.Provide recommendations on areas of opportunitiesEnsure daily production goals are met and maintains qualityProactively research potential issues and provide solutions; executing as appropriate and managing upParticipate on projectsComplete a Quality Assurance review to ensure proper documentation and perfection of collateral in adherence of policies, procedures and regulatory requirements is presentProactively communicate loan status with loan officers throughout the process; respond to questions in a timely manner and notify all parties when additional information is neededConduct automated and manual tests to ensure system updates are performing as intendedMaintain thorough knowledge of documentation required to meet underwriting and compliance requirementsEnsure loan documentation is scanned accurately (Post Closing)Process, review, research, and file Loan Documentation, including notes, disclosures, security agreements, collateral and other documents. (Post-Closing)
Organizational RelationshipThis position reports to the Manager - Business Banking Document PreparationPosition QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 3 year of operations or business lending experienceBanking/accounting/finance experience preferred

Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
