Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilitiesRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesServes as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesAdds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experienceStrong proficiency in React and its core principles.Solid grasp of Web fundamentals: Typescript/JavaScript, CSS,Understanding of build tools such as Webpack, Single Spa and Module Federation.Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsFacilitates knowledge sharing within the team through regular meetings, mentoring, code review sessions, best practices/standards, troubleshooting defects and comprehensive documentation.Practical cloud native experience like AWSDemonstrated ability to take full ownership of tasks and projects, from inception to completionActively participate in scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.Consider Accessibility (WCAG), Security, Observability & Performance as part of all owned applications/deliverables.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Hands on experience with Messaging Solutions i.e. KafkaWorking knowledge of SQL database such as Oracle, Cockroach, Aurora and NO SQL database such as Cassandra and Dynamo DBKnowledge working with Kubernetes and DockerExperience in delivering cloud based solutions, primarily AWS hands on experience on ECS, Lambda, MSK, S3, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS, Route 53, Cloud Watch etc.
