Director of Sales, ElectrificationLocation: Remote (based in Michigan)Join my client, a leader in the automotive supply chain industry, on their quest to find a Director of Sales - Electrification. This role is central to leading global sales efforts, with a keen focus on the electrification of powertrain and mechatronic components.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee global sales operations, supervising teams across North America, China, and potential expansions into Europe.Lead the global RFQ (Request for Quotation) review process, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence across all markets.Develop and execute strategic customer strategies aimed at expanding existing partnerships and penetrating new markets to maximize market share and target strategic product opportunities.Ideal Candidate:Brings at least 10 years of automotive industry sales experience, particularly in areas involving electrification of powertrain or mechatronic components.Has a successful track record in direct OEM sales, with strong existing relationships with senior purchasing executives at major OEMs such as GM, Ford, or Stellantis.Possesses a highly developed commercial negotiation skillset, with proven ability to secure and maintain favorable deals.Has significant people management experience, ideally with 5+ years in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams.Knowledgeable in strategic market planning, including understanding market share analytics, product MCA concepts, and targeted marketing strategies.This role offers a competitive compensation package of $160,000 base salary plus bonuses and a car allowance, rewarding the expertise and dedication required.Are you ready to take on a role that challenges and utilizes your skills in global automotive sales and leadership?
