So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the jobAt Alfa Laval we are seeking a Director of Sales for the Hygienic Fluid Handling team, who will drive profitable growth for the Food & Water Division by creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy in line with Alfa Laval's financial goals.This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the Hygienic Fluid Handling business, covering both capital and after-sales to enhance customer satisfaction and market reach. The Director will build and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.This is a hybrid position located in Kenosha, WI.As a part of the team, you will:Define and implement the business strategy for Hygienic Fluid Handling (Capital Sales and After Sales) in alignment with local Division strategy as well as Central Business Unit and Division strategy.Develop and execute a robust business plan, incorporating market analysis, customer segmentation, channel management, pricing, and marketing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.Oversee forecasting of sales and budgets, and monitor performance against financial targets, identifying areas for improvement.Lead business development and sales activities, including demand generation and pipeline management, to drive market penetration and customer engagement.Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and adherence to established sales processes, particularly lead-to-quote conversions.Partner closely with the marketing team to help define and implement strategies for Hygienic Fluid Handling, including customer and competitor analysis, demand generation, pricing strategy, and market communications.Leading change management to adapt to new market demands.Review and approve contractual commitments per defined authorization procedures.What you know:You have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills and:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of management experience in an industrial B2B environment, with a proven record of driving change and delivering resultsExperience in channel management is preferredStrong coaching and motivation skillsStrong strategic planning skillsAbility to develop and implement business strategy and drive through resultsCustomer focusedStrong and effective communicator to stakeholders across different areasExperience developing and leading high performing teamsChange management experience with focus on transformation and digitalizationAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the timeMust possess a valid driver's licenseWhat’s in it for you?At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right.
