Company:Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.Job Area:Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Sales - ACIPGeneral Summary:The North America Consumer Channel Distribution Sales Manager will be responsible for driving National Retail account management, sell-in forecasting and sell-through optimization. The Sales Manager will focus on building local channel relationships inclusive with category buyers at prioritized retailers and e-tailers. The selected candidate will manage forecasting and sell through activities with retail partners while working cross functionally within Qualcomm to build coordinated marketing campaigns that drive sales of compute products. The channel manager will focus on driving Snapdragon compute products into the channel and developing winning strategies to expand assortment and accelerate sales velocity with our channel partners.Specific ResponsibilitiesExecution of our account channel management and go-to-market planning North America.End-to-end strategic account management of key retail accounts in NA driving optimal assortment.Executing sales campaigns with channel partners that drive significant market share gains in the market.Tracking the productivity and ROI of channel investments.Exceeding channel quota for sales and impact.Partnering cross functionally with channel marketing and field sales programming.Partnering with regional OEM teams to drive and launch products in channel.Developing and delivering on strategic account plans, timelines and implementing programming.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent.5+ years in consumer specific electronic technology channel sales (e.g. sales to retail, e-tail, or carriers), channel marketing, or management.Preferred Qualifications7+ years in Consumer Compute technology channel sales (e.g., sales to retail, e-tail, or carriers), channel marketing, or management.Significant channel sales experience and a proven track record of working with channel partners to grow their sales in new business segments.Existing relationships with channel leadership and retail account owners in North America.Working knowledge of the Compute technology ecosystem and partners.Ability to successfully navigate inherent challenges/obstacles of new product adoption, and demonstrated experience in selling new or nascent technology/devices through channel partners.Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally & externally.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills.While there is a strong preference for this position to be based in San Diego, CA, remote work locations in the United States can be considered.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
