Business Analyst, Consultant

Your RoleThe Behavioral Health Strategy team ensures members have access to affordable, high-quality care that differentiates BSC as a market leader in behavioral health. The Business Analyst, Consultant will report to the Director, Clinical Strategy & Performance. In this role, you will collect Behavioral Health data from various internal systems and convert the data into actionable insights to guide business decision-making for BSC behavioral health management and quality of care.Your Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience.Requires experience validating the quality and integrity of incoming data.Requires prior experience in data analysis and reporting, including Excel, SQL, BI tools, and data visualization.Requires excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and requirements.Preferred experience with Behavioral Health data and services.Pay Range:The pay range for this role is: $96,470.00 to $144,760.00 for California.Note:Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
