Global Branding and Channel Marketing Manager Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 8-10 year minimum of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Comprehensive knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices Experience in marketing communications, B2B marketing Responsibilities

Manage, plan, and implement branding and communications projects in the areas of advertising, promotional programs, digital and mobile communications Drive the development of product promotion plans in collaboration with US and Global product marketing teams Plan, create, and produce marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and digital tools to support marketing objectives Act as a brand champion and ensure all communications are consistent and accurately support the brand strategy Serve as the conduit and hub within the marketing organization to coordinate and support branding and marketing efforts globally Produce informational materials for communication media to reach maximum number of customers and prospects Prepare materials for the sales force and evaluate and modify promotion or advertising programs to effectively support organizational goals Partner with digital marketing analysts to set actionable measurable KPIs and SMART goals to optimize channel mix for each initiative Partner with product management to develop communication objectives and strategies, and determine and manage the project budget and the production schedule Manage the development of marketing and sales/promotional materials to effectively promote and sell Establish and execute promotion plans Provide channel strategy expertise to teams and recommend most effective ways to deploy assets and materials to achieve marketing objectives Manage and track material effectiveness to modify and improve promotion development Provide direction to vendors to incorporate ideas, goals, themes, and budget for promotional material to ensure quality production and timely completion of projects Act as liaison between Webmaster and/or vendors and product management and facilitate communication to achieve consensus and complete the development of promotional projects Quality check products at all stages of development and production process, apply changes where required, and provide final approval to ensure quality of finished material being produced Proactively promote a “digital first” approach as a major marketing communications approach, domestically and internationally Actively promote Abbott brand by ensuring projects meet corporate brand standards Perform this job in a quality system environment Benefits
