Qualifications
Proven experience (at a senior level) in developing and implementing recommendation algorithms in a retail or e-commerce environment Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, deep learning, and natural language processing Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the development, implementation, and optimization of our recommendation algorithms You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our customer experience and drive business growth through personalized recommendations Create real-time recommendation services to integrate with the rest of the tech stack Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align recommendation system strategies with overall business objectives Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced recommendation algorithms Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in recommendation systems Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that can be used to improve recommendation accuracy Develop and implement machine learning models to enhance recommendation performance Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate recommendation algorithms into our systems Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals Design and conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different recommendation algorithms Continuously optimize and refine recommendation models based on user feedback and performance metrics
