Our mission is to revolutionize commerce globally, making moving money, selling, and shopping simple, personalized, and secure.What you need to know about the role:We are looking for a top-notch Principal Machine Learning Scientist with broad experience across different ML domains and excellent coding skills to join PayPal’s Global Analytics Data Science team in Tel Aviv, Israel.Meet our team:The team builds horizontal ML services and solutions to serve ML scientists and decision-makers in the organization working on business challenges in various domains, including Risk, Sales, Credit, Marketing, and more. The team is made up of expert ML scientists in the domains of CV, NLP, GenAI, sequencing, and graph algorithms and deals mostly with generating insights from unstructured data.Job Description:Your way to impact:As a Principal Machine Learning Scientist, you will assume a lead role in a team that focuses on internal ML services and solutions, catering to GADS ML scientists developing models for various business decision-making. This high-profile position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and ML scientists.Your day-to-day:Developing advanced ML services and solutions in the domains of NLP, CV, GenAI, Sequences, and Graph algorithmsMentor and guide members of the teamInfluence the team’s roadmap and prioritiesClosely collaborate with Product managers, ML scientist internal customers, and ML engineers to build large-scale services and end-to-end solutions to support PayPal business initiativesWhat do you need to bring:Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML and Data ScienceAt least 3 years’ experience with unstructured data, namely, one or more of the following domains: CV, NLP, sequence, graph algorithms, GenAIMSc, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)Proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks, packages, and toolsExperience demonstrating technical leadership working with teams, owning projects, defining and setting technical direction for projectsExperience with developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impactExperience in designing ML pipelines, including model versioning, model deployment, model testing, and monitoringExperience working in a multi-culture and multi-location organizations – an advantageTeam player, responsible, delivery-oriented, details-orientedOutstanding communication skillsExcellent spoken and written EnglishNote: this is a hybrid position.Additional Job Description:Subsidiary:
