Key Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain scalable database solutions using SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS.Implement database design and normalization best practices to ensure data integrity and efficiency.Optimize queries and tune database performance for large-scale data processing.Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability by implementing data governance practices.Familiarity with cloud data solutions, including Azure SQL or AWS RDS, to design and deploy cloud-based data architectures.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues as they arise.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for data manipulation and querying.Strong experience with SSIS for ETL process development and implementation.Expertise in database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure SQL or AWS RDS.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications :Experience with additional data processing frameworks or tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for data processing tasks.Knowledge of data modelling and data architecture principles.Experience with data governance and compliance requirements.
