Minimum Requirements
Experience with APD projects across a region or nationallyExperience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on APD projectsExperience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation projectsExperience in the preparation of presentations utilizing PowerPointExperience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgetsBusiness development and marketing skills experience requiredAbility to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staffAbility to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environmentMinimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering and project management experience on large transportation projects, including at least three APD projectsCompletion of a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at an accredited institutionProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licensed or ability to get within 6 months, and the ability to get licensed in states as needed to support the assigned pursuitResponsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of transportation design build projects across North America for large and mid-size constructionContribute to initiatives to help advance our project design, operations, and business developmentWork in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients, and the public by following company health, safety and security guidelines and policiesMaintain and enhance our reputation with clients, approval agencies, and industry professionals as an outstanding service providerMay manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEstablish project objectives, procedures, and performance standardsLead multi-disciplinary teams on major alternative project delivery (APD) projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction servicesBe the key person and point of contact, performing design, deputy design, or quality manager roles on major APD projectsRepresent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader on major APD projectsIdentify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectivesManage contract tasks, track, and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budgetLead by example with active support of internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality managementGrow internal and external networks to enhance Stantec reputation and identify additional talent to join our teamDevelop Client relationships to facilitate project activitiesEstablish, maintain, and promote partnerships in project pursuitsCompensation
Min Pay Range: $158,800.00Max Pay Range: $246,100.00Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.Company Information
