Payments Internal Communications Vice President

J.P. Morgan Payments is seeking someone proactive and detail-oriented to support key Payments communications objectives. You will bring a creative approach to communications, balanced with an analytical mindset to advise and influence senior executives in the global Payments business. You will need to operate at the highest strategic levels, while executing at the most tactical levels to deliver excellent and cohesive support for multiple business leaders.
As a Payments Internal Communications Vice President within the Payments business, you will be instrumental in shaping, promoting, and assessing key business priorities. Your role will require you to prioritize, exert influence, and operate efficiently within a matrixed environment, producing top-notch, unified communication materials to support various business leaders. Additionally, you will work in collaboration with the Payments communications team, including internal, external, and editorial divisions, as well as the Corporate and Investment Bank and other firm-wide communications teams.
Job responsibilities:
Work closely with Internal Communications team to draft and deliver communications materials, aligned with the broader editorial calendar.Support senior leadership teams in implementing consistent messaging across the business.Source and draft articles for the intranet, supporting business priorities.Manage data tracking and reporting across the business and generate regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).Analyze reports, find trends and provide communications recommendations.Manage best practices across Payments Communication teams and produce standardized reporting, which will be emulated across the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB).Manage and implement communications strategies based on data and trends.Support platforms and industry best practices and work closely with the Corporate Investment Bank measurement team.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
7+ years of recent experience in the Marketing & Communications field; BA/BS degree.Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills; strong editing skills; web knowledge/digitally savvy.Proven ability to lead, influence, and align across cross-functional teams, while interacting with multiple stakeholders.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives.Commitment to maintain the firm's high standards related to risk, compliance and the Code of Conduct.High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility.Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism.Experience in Corporate Communications, with a strong knowledge of corporate internal and employee communications strategies, best practices, implementation and execution; solid understanding of the financial services industry.Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additional software skills (Adobe, Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, HTML) a plus.
