This team is dedicated to the implementation and support ofover 25 state of the art Clinical Imaging Solutions in the areas of Radiology, Ophthalmology, Nuclear Medicine and more.This is a hybrid position: On-site work in our Bronx, NY locations an average of2 days per week.Required immunizations: COVID-19 vaccination and flu.
Responsibilities:Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settingsProvide go-live and rollout supportInterface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionalityPerform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modificationDetermine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:Analyze business/clinical needs and requirementsInterpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solutionEvaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the systemCreate system specifications from user requirements
Create and execute test plans for new system implementations and upgrades to existing applications.Document all outcomes of testingApplication implementation, troubleshooting, and support including triaging network / workstation / hardware related issues.Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, and coordination of software modifications and updates. Recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoringProvide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basisProvide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support)
Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProven track reacod with implementing, troubleshooting, testing and supporting PACS and/or clinical imaging systemsIT experience within patient care settings or medical centers.Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with physicians and clinical staffKnowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE and other health related standardsCritical thinking skills; strong problem solving and analytical skillsEager to learn, exceptional listening skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skillsAdaptability in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
Desired:Knowledge of the workflows associated with Radiology and/or OphthalmologyExperience working with multiple operating systems, modalities and clinical systems
