Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage media monitoring, event coordination, and CRM data management. This role involves planning and executing a wide variety of events for both public and internal stakeholders, maintaining and utilizing CRM systems to support outreach campaigns, and monitoring media for relevant news and trends. Candidates with experience in public affairs or campaign management are highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate diverse events for public and stakeholders, including managing logistics such as venue selection, catering, invitations, décor, and on-site troubleshooting.Assist in CRM management by executing targeted campaigns and ensuring data integrity.Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and key stakeholders.Monitor media outlets and online platforms for relevant news, trends, and coverage related to the organization, providing timely reports and insights to the public affairs team to support strategy and outreach efforts.Manage event logistics, including potential setup and teardown, while addressing any issues that arise to ensure smooth operations.Proactively plan for unforeseen challenges that could affect event success.Collaborate with the team on employee events and volunteer initiatives.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director.Skills and Abilities:
Strong alignment with and passion for the organization’s mission.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary software.Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional written and verbal expression.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changes while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.A collaborative team player who can balance individual responsibilities with team objectives and is open to feedback and diverse perspectives.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including cognitive skills such as learning, focus, and integration of information.Valid Driver’s License required.Education and Experience:
2 years of event planning experience in a fast-paced environmentBachelors in Communications, Marketing or other related field preferredTravel Requirements:Able to travel for events, which vary throughout the year.
