As a Network Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing, specifying, integrating, and implementing enterprise-wide network architectures that support complex distributed systems. These systems operate across multiple classification enclaves and are intricately integrated with Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control (C2) systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that these networks not only meet the highest standards of performance and reliability but also adhere to stringent information assurance processes and procedures.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive system management support, focusing on the seamless operation of large-scale networks that are essential to national security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that address the unique challenges of secure, multi-enclave environments. Your ability to navigate the complexities of DoD requirements, coupled with your deep technical knowledge, will be key to the successful delivery of resilient and secure network architectures.
Compensation Minimum: $155,000 - $165,000

Skills / Experience Required Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) 3+ years of hands-on professional experience as Network Architect & Network Lead of similar in size and scope 3+ years of experience as Network Architect & Network Lead supporting a DOD program of similar in size and scope Enterprise Systems management services will support implementation, configuration and management of the following technologies (including performance management): Network devices (switches and routers) Server operating systems VMware/Nutanix virtualization infrastructure Server application monitoring VoIP telephony SolarWinds network and server management suites DHCP/DNS/IPAM experience Palo Alto firewall IPS/IDS vRealize Operations & Configuration Manager Modern server series installation, advanced disk subsystem and networking configuration Server disaster recovery Data at Rest protection DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS) DoD Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) Oracle and MS-SQL database Log Management Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Red Seal Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Minimum Certifications Required: Server+ or Linux+ Education / Certifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field Juniper Network Certified Professional (JNCIP) IASAEIII CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) PTO Paid Paternal leave Tuition reimbursement Paid federal holidays Security Clearance
