Key Responsibilities
Order Preparation:
Accurately pick, pack, and label items for shipment based on customer orders.Shipment Processing:
Generate and verify shipping documents, including packing lists, invoices, and labels.Carrier Coordination:
Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.Quality Assurance:
Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, condition, and compliance with company standards.Inventory Management:
Assist in managing shipping supplies and reporting inventory discrepancies.Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions for audit purposes.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to resolve shipping issues and meet delivery deadlines.Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.Ability to lift and move objects up to [X] pounds.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred:
