Sr. Application Developer

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Applications Developer to sits remote (EST time zone) for a large CPG company. This role is helping to build a website and application behind it from the ground up for internal u . This developer will be coming in within very early stages of the project. They will spend 85-90% of their day doing heads down development and the other 10-15% in meetings, requirements gathering, etc. This role will be 50% front end and 50% back end development. The developer coming in will design and implement robust APIs and business logic using .NET Core as well as develop, deploy, and maintain applications in Azure PaaS environments. This role will design and optimize database schemas, queries, and procedures in SQL Server and MySQL, ensuring accuracy and performance and create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular. They will conduct code reviews, ensure optimal performance of backend processing and collaborate closely with front end developers to ensue seamless user experience. Pay is around 68.00/hr

Required Skills & Experience- 10+ years experience as a Sr. Applications Developer- Recent background as a Full stack developer- Strong recent experience with Angular (latest versions) for front end development- Strong recent experience with C# and .Net core for backend development- Strong recent experience working in an Azure environment- Both Agile and Waterfall experience- Test automation experience and working with tools like jmeter, playwright, etc
