Clinical Nurse II: Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Nights

Work Shift: Night The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to provide specialized care to critically ill adult patients. The focus of care includes patients with life-threatening conditions related to major surgical procedures, trauma, brain and spinal injuries, stroke, and sepsis. Nurses in this role will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, as well as assessing and evaluating patient needs. The candidate must be a graduate of a professional nursing program, hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license, and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential. This role requires access to sensitive information and the candidate must ensure information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification.
